This boy is growing like a weed. He now weighs about 11 pounds. He eats CONSTANTLY. I think every picture I take of him looks different.

We went out to see the progress at our lot today. We now have a basement and a level lot. Hal enjoyed watching the man move the dirt around.

David and I got to pick out the bricks and trim for our new house today. After we looked at a few samples, they gave us a couple of addresses to visit. These are the bricks we picked. I have no idea whose house this is, but they have good taste!

House Update

We've been waiting for this day all summer! Everything is finally coming together. After months of waiting on loans to come out of underwriting, we are starting to see some action. The lot has officially been cleared. Hopefully, we will see some construction sometime this week.

We have been living with my mom since the beginning of May. My mom and Phifer have made life incredibly easy for all of us. My mom cooks for us and does our laundry! They also give us tons of help with Hal and Hayes. We are so blessed!

I am praying that we will be able to move in our new house sometime in November. I'm sure we will have worn out our welcome by then! Poor little Hayes doesn't even have a bedroom right now. All of the nursery stuff is packed away in storage. One day he's going to have a very cute bedroom. I just hope he's not a year old before that happens.
