Bedtime Photo Shoot

Tonight after Hal took his bath we had a small photo shoot. I decided since his hair was clean and his face was free of dirt and food it was a good time to take his picture. He was surprisingly cooperative. I didn't even have to bribe with chocolate this time!

Love that sweet smile!

Hayes's 4D Ultrasound

We had our 4D ultrasound today. These are some of the better pictures we were able to get. Hayes has already positioned himself head down and very low. This made it hard to get any really clear pictures of him. The cord was in front of his face in most of the pictures. We did notice that he has really long fingers and toes.
It totally amazed me that he looks nothing like Hal. I don't know if I was expecting him to look just like his brother or what. Even though the pictures weren't as clear as we'd hoped, it was worth the money just to see what he is doing in there. We are so excited to meet this little guy!

Our "Baby" - Just Don't Tell Hal

The Big Kid

These days you had better not slip up and call this big kid a baby. He is quick to remind everyone that he is a "big kid." Hal really has become quite the big kid lately. Sometimes I look at him and wonder where the time has gone. It seems he is finally coming out of the terrible twos and threes. He has become so much more cooperative in the last couple of months. Not a day goes by that I am not amazed by something he says or does. He cracks me up everyday with his imaginary friends and answers for everything. This kid will NEVER say "I don't know."
I went to my 28 week doctor appointment yesterday. I had to do the glucose test. I passed! Thank goodness. I was kind of nervous because of all the Dove chocolate I've eaten lately. ;) Anyway, little Hayes is doing great and growing like a weed. I can't believe it is already time to start the bimonthly appointments. The doctor told me that everything looks just perfect! What a relief to finally be in the "normal" and "perfect" category! After all of the infertility stuff we have dealt with over the past few years, it feels so good to be EASY. Thank God for these blessings!

Wild Thing

I took these pictures this morning as Hal performed Wild Thing to the top of his lungs. This kid loves music! I don't know if this is any indication of things to come, but we will see - American Idol?

The Country

Last week Hal went to "the country" with Mimi & Pop. You would have thought he took a trip to Disney World. He still won't quit talking about it.

Where in the world have the years gone? My baby looks like such a big kid now. It is hard to believe how much he has changed in just a few short years.
