I hold tight to Daddy's hand

His firm but gentle grip makes me

For my Daddy is the biggest and the strongest of them all

Birthday Party!

Tonight we had a birthday party at our house for Mimi and Steven. We had lots of food and fun. Hal enjoyed being the center of attention as always.

Sticky Fingers

On the wall and on the floor,

round the windows and the door,

marks that tell without a doubt

that sticky fingers are about.

Round the place the toddlers sway,

leaving traces all the way.

And house-proud mothers near to tears

struggle to efface the smears.

Wiping vainly as they go

paint that used to gleam and glow.

But though a lot of pains she'll take

cleaning up the marks they make,

a mother's heart loves every one.

She knows how quickly time must run.

Too soon the little hands will grow,

too soon the golden years will go.

But when the finger marks have gone,

the memories will linger on...

February 2006 - February 2007

My how time flies! I can't believe that my little buddy is getting so big. He looks like a kid now instead of a baby. The picture on the left was taken in February 2006. The picture on the right was taken in February 2007. I can't believe how much he's changed. He's obviously not as excited about the camera as he used to be.

Moms' Night Out / Dads' Night In

Tonight the dads kept all the babies at our house while the moms met at Chris & Karen's. Hal wore himself out trying to keep up with three girls!

This is Hal's favorite outfit - Elmo diaper and matching Elmo slippers. He also has lots of fun with the whoopie cushion. It doesn't take long for a little boy to become a little version of his daddy!

Richie's Wedding

Richie and Amanda were married this weekend. The rehearsal dinner was lots of fun and the wedding was beautiful. It was great spending time with friends new and old!

Paul's Birthday Party!

We had lots of fun at cousin Paul's birthday party! The leaning chocolate cake was a crowd favorite. Way to go Chef Nana!
