Happy Easter - 2009

We had a wonderful Easter! Hal played ALL DAY and ate enough candy to choke a horse. This is the only picture we took of our entire family. Hal refused to tuck his shirt in, I look like a swollen balloon, and David appears to have joined the Secret Service.

Older Pictures From Nana

This picture and the others that follow are older pictures that Nana took. There are pictures that date all the way back to October. They were just too cute to pass up.

And so it begins...

These are some pictures of the lot we have picked out. I want to call it "our lot" but I'm still so worried that something might go wrong. We are really getting our hopes up, so we are praying that everything goes well with the closing of our house at the end of the month. It is definitely going to be inconvenient to be homeless when the new baby arrives, but hopefully it will all be worth it in the end.

A Familiar Scene

This is a picture of Hal beating up on my brother. Steven is getting his payback!

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Guitar Lessons from Uncle Steven

I love watching my brother and Hal together. Steven is so patient with him, and Hal loves his uncle. There is just something so special about watching your own child be loved so much by your family.

Time to Go

Well, the past week has been quite hectic. Our house has been on the market since last June with ForSale-ByOwner. About two months ago we decided to list it with an agent (my mom). Long story short - we sold it last weekend and we have to be out by the end of April. It was definitely not part of our plan to be homeless when Baby Hayes arrives, but I guess life has a way of keeping you on your toes. We've looked at lots of houses, but we have decided to build one (in Helena). So, here we are 7 months pregnant and moving in with my mom. Talk about a challenge!
I don't know why, but something about this whole thing is bittersweet. I am so excited to be starting fresh, but there is a part of me that is a little sad. This will always be our first home. I can tell you one thing is for sure, Hal will not be happy when he realizes that we are moving out of this house and someone else is moving in.
