Funny Kid

I can't believe Christmas has already come and gone! Hal was so much fun this year. His comments about Santa, the reindeer, the elf, and everything in between were priceless. I don't think anything could top his excitement this year. We are already looking forward to next year when we can celebrate with our second little blessing.
Today after church Jake rode with us to eat lunch. As I listened to the two of them discuss eating poop sandwiches and throw up for lunch, I said a silent prayer for myself. I can only imagine what it might be like to be the only female in our home. I would love to have a little girl to dress up and play with, but there is just something about these little guys too. We will find out in January whether I'll be buying hair bows and dolls or continuing to discuss poop and boogers. Either will be fine with me! :)

Christmas at Mimi & Pop's

These are some of the pictures we took at Mimi & Pop's house. We didn't take any still pictures at Nana's house this year so we'll have to wait for the video clip of Christmas with Nana.

I've been tagged!

We've been tagged! Here are the rules -
1. Go to your pictures folder.
2. Go to the fourth folder.
3. Choose the fourth picture in the fourth folder.
4. Explain the photo.
5. Tag 4 people.

I was trying to make Hal hold a flower and pretend to smell it. I wanted to try and make the flower color and the picture black and white. Anyway, this is a picture of David making fun of me. Those of you who know him probably didn't even need an explanation.

I'm tagging - Scarlett VanOrden, Amanda Robertson, Jennifer Tennant, & Danna Orton

Christmas Cards

This is one of the four pictures we used on our Christmas cards this year. I wanted to post all of them, but I guess the Christmas cards would be pointless.

Decorating Fun with a Side of Dog Poop

We finally finished decorating the outside of our house tonight. Let's just say it was a "messy" event.
Hal - I want to help! Let me do it! I'm a big kid, I know how to do this. I'm great at setting up reindeer.
David - Hal, stop trying to ride the reindeer. Leave it alone! I mean it - LEAVE IT ALONE!
Natalie - I think something is wrong with the reindeer. The lights are not coming on.
Hal - NOOOO! I know how to fix it. Let me get my drill.
David - What is that smell? Did someone step in dog "poop"? Hal, did you step in dog poop?
Hal - Not me.
Natalie - Let me check. Oh gosh! It is you Hal. Come on, let's change your shoes. Wait a minute, I think it's on my shoes too. Oh gross!
David - Laughing.... Be careful, watch your step. I'm not sure where it is. Oh great! It's on my shoes too.
