My sweet 4th graders gave me a baby shower last Friday. I got all kinds of cute gifts for Baby Hayes. I am going to miss my class from this year. They have been so great!

Moving Day - May 2, 2009

We moved out of our house this past weekend. It is so hard for me to leave this house for some reason. I guess it is because it was our first home and the house we brought Hal home to. Anyway, I had to get our picture standing outside of the house one last time. I also made David "hang Hal on the wall" one last time. This was our ritual each night at bedtime. The other picture shows Hal in his empty bedroom.
Right now we are living with my mom while we build a house in Helena. It is definitely not fun driving from Hueytown to Helena each day, but it will all be worth it when our new house is finished. Hal is having a little trouble adjusting to the move, but I think it is starting to sink in. I really think I'm the only one having an emotional breakdown.
Baby Hayes will be here before we know it. I will be 35 weeks on Thursday. I can't believe it is already time for his arrival. I went to the doctor today and he said that I was measuring 37 weeks already, and he is expecting a big baby. But, this is the same doctor that predicted Hal would be small (around 6 lbs), and here came an 8lb6oz baby. Oh well, I guess we will have to wait a few more weeks to find out.
