We took Hal to ride Thomas the Train this morning. He wasn't impressed. It really was a neat place, but he complained for the most part of the morning. His favorite part was the golf cart ride that took us from our car to the train. Thomas was nothing compared to that golf cart. He had a breakdown on the way back to the car because we couldn't ride the golf cart again. I thought David and I (and every other parent there) would have our own nervous breakdowns before we could get back in the car. Every toddler boy in town was there. I saw more tantrums this morning than I care to see in a year, and I can't tell you how many times I heard, "I'd hate for you to get a spanking in front of Thomas." David and I even said it a couple of times. The picture of him in the bottom right corner says it all.
